Good Stuff on the Way

I’ve got something exciting for you all tomorrow!  Here’s a hint:

soft warm sunshine

I’ve gotta get back to work on this project but I’d love it if you shared something entertaining in the comments – a joke, a short story, even just what you’re up to this week 🙂

  1. Gray and Yellow. Makes me think of crocus weather.
When the puffy grey clouds, pushed by such a cold wind you don’t know if it’s rain or snow in the darker underbelly of those clouds, race across the sun drenched spring sky, the warm sunlight flicks on and off like a child with a venetian blind string in each hand, first pulling them open, then closed. On one of the first spring days like that, the early crocus push its way out of the cold earth, shouldering aside snow to open petals to the sun. Cloud shadow follows soon after, and the petals close, the flower droops. With the next ray of warm sun, the flower springs back to life, bursting open to bask in the sun again. Your surprise reminds me of a day in April, looking out of my kitchen window at the crocus on just such a day, open, close, open, close, open with the racing clouds. Nice to see that Sunshine wins out in the end. 🙂 Hope you were entertained by my short story. I’m looking forward to tomorrow.

  2. I remember those colors! Can’t wait to see the reveal tomorrow.

I am not feeling so creative these days, but I will tell you that I’m really excited about the weather these days. Sunny warm days, cool nights. Friends think that I will be putting off my knitting for the summer, but they are so so wrong.

Keep on knitting, Holly! One day we will have to sit in a patio somewhere, sip on some summer ales and share knitting stories 🙂
