Just Another Part of the Design Process

You see that?

swirly, twirly soon-to-be-ripped stitches

That’s a whole heap of stitches. Stitches not on needles.

Sometimes, things just need to be started over, not because you made a mistake, gauge was off or you have the wrong number of stitches, but because you know that if you had just incorporated this one little idea right from the beginning, your design would be awesome.

Starting over, ripping, frogging, whatever you want to call it, can lead to better things so fear not! Rip away dear knitters!

  1. I totally know what you mean. I stand by you 100%. If you’re not happy from the beginning, you’re going to hate the result. I’d frog it too.
