2013 was The Year of Progress – and a progressive year it was.
- I moved
- Twice
- I started a new job that I absolutely love
- I knit quite a few things (not all the things even got Raveled)
- I published a few of designs
- I pushed my body
- I taught adults and kids
- I lost a friend
- And I gained more
I’ve deemed 2014 The Year of Learning because I sincerely believe that I learn something new everyday. This year, I want to document this fact. I’ve got a pretty notebook and colorful pens to keep track of everything I learn throughout the year and I’m excited about it!
What are you going to miss most about 2013? What are you most looking forward to in 2014?
2013 was a year of new direction for us. 2014 will be about process and learning for me as well. I’m looking forward to internships, graduation, and pregnancy
Pregnancy?! I didn’t know you were pregnant! Congrats!
We are trying to get pregnant this year before we are too old.
That’s awesome, I’m sure you’ll let us know when you do, right?
Of course!
2013 was a year of darkness for me. I battled daemons that kept me from a lot. The last quarter turned the lights back on and my mojo seems to be back. New job (starting 1.3.2014) and knitting better than I have in years…..
I’m ready for the new year so that I can begin evolving and growing. I am excited to follow your learning and knitting more of your patterns!
Here’s to a great 2014 for all of us!
I hope that 2014 brings you more light and I’m looking forward to hearing about your new job! Keep on knitting, it has helped me out of plenty a dark hole in the past, truly.
I’m pretty sure 2014 is The Year of The Stash. I’ve been accumulating yarn for 5 or 6 years now…and it’s time I used it. I have a closet full of bins of yarn.
I think that’s a great idea! I can’t guarantee I’m going to knit only from stash, but I can try my best not to add *too* much to it 😉
Good luck and have fun! 2014 is going to be a Reboot for me. I’m keeping the good things but going to ditch the fear, guilt, and resulting procrastination that kept me from accomplishing anything.
That sounds awesome! Don’t let fear and guilt ruin all the awesome things that you can do, you’re a wonderful person and a great inspiration!
