WIP Wednesday: More Purple

So over the past week I’ve made some fun progress on the purple top that has finally been put on Ravelry and that means I can link to it too!IMG_2791

It’s going to be the Bailiwick Pullover by Courtney Spainhower in the Spring issue of Interweave Knits.

I’ve finished the front and am starting to work on the back, then they’ll be joined to work in the round for the body. IMG_2794

The orange sweater may be taking a backseat to this one…..but we won’t tell her that.  The Bailiwick is just a tad easier to follow when I’m doing other things like Skyping with distant friends or watching TV so it sees more action.  But never fear! I still love the orange yarn and the pattern and hope to have the sweater done by spring (which seems a long way off with below 0 degree F temps and all the snow we’ve gotten this week).

What are you working on lately?

    1. I hope the purple works out and I don’t look like a giant plum haha. The sweater is gorgeous and looks like it’ll be easily incorporated into my wardrobe, are you going to knit it up too? What color would you use?

      1. I don’t have any actually knitting plans, but I might actually go with a gray or tan like the pattern sample. I need some of that in my wardrobe. Or green. I always love green.

  1. ohhh…love Manos. First thing I ever knit was in Manos, the Wildflower color.
Thanks so much. Am going to go looking for the Boysenberry color
